    Vectorworks, Inc. has released its sixth update for the Vectorworks 2024 product line. This update includes the following new functionality and quality improvements that enhance your everyday experience with Vectorworks 2024.

     

    Important Enhancements

     

    • General
      • Improved general stability
      • Improved performance when updating referenced layers and design layer viewports
      • Restored copying and pasting of database rows in worksheets
      • The Eyedropper tool now correctly transfers image effects between viewports
      • When a viewport is moved, elevation benchmark handles now move with the viewport
    • Interoperability
      • Multiple IFC file export improvements
    • Architect, Landmark, Spotlight
      • Improved project sharing reliability when using the Save and Commit command
    • Spotlight
      • Added equipment reports to the Inventory and Equipment List dialog box
    • ConnectCAD
      • Connections remain intact when duplicating devices with circuits or importing layers with devices and circuits

    Installing the Update

    This update is available as a downloadable updater for all U.S. English-based versions of Vectorworks 2024. To install the update, please select Check for Updates from the Vectorworks menu (Mac) or Help menu (Windows).

     

    Please submit a support request in the customer portal if you have any technical questions or problems during this process.

    Hi, I try to update my version on Intel iMac 27 in 2020 with Core i7, 128 GB RAM and 16 GB VRAM. 

    But I just notice that my updates haven installed since VW24 Update 1. 

     

    This is the message on the screen claiming that I don't have Internet connection. 

     

    Should I remove and re install the software?

    I updated my Vectorworks to the latest version, and was hoping to use the LiveSync with D5 Render, but when I installed the plugin, I got an error saying it was incompatible. It's the latest from D5, version 2.8

     

    Any thoughts?

     

    EDIT:

    Nevermind, a 2nd restart of Vectorworks solved the problem. 

    This great by the way!!  😄

    @RICARDO OLVERA ARELLANO - I have the same issue. 2021 Macbook Pro 16", Apple M1 Max. Hopefully someone has a fix.

    Hello friend! I had to delete the software and reinstall from the most recent service pack it was the 6th then. Now 7. It worked much better, but I see some low performance after a while with 16 ram. 
     

    On my IMac core i7 eight core with 128 ram and 16vram. The processor is not working well. Always at 5%. Only on a render goes to 25%. But is slow.
