In some scenarios, users running Vectorworks on Mac OS X may notice that the QuickLook function of Finder will cease to function properly in regards to Vectorworks (.VWX) files.
This can normally be corrected by the following steps:
1) Close Vectorworks
2) In Finder, navigate to HD > Library > QuickLook
3) Remove the existing "VectorWorksQL.qlgenerator" file, if present
4) Download the appropriate working zipped version of this plugin at the bottom of this article
5) Unzip the plugin, then place the extracted file directly into the QuickLook folder
6) Reboot your machine
OS X 10.6 users should use the "OSX106QuickLook.zip" file.
OS X 10.7 users should use the "OSX107QuickLook.zip" file.
OS X 10.8 users should use the "OSX108QuickLook.zip" file.
