    Vectorworks 2011 introduced the ability to use an ODBC (Open Database Connectivity) interface to communicate with external databases. To use this functionality; ODBC drivers and an ODBC manager are required.

    Attached to the bottom of this article are the instructions both for setting up ODBC drivers as well as the managers for the following database formats:

    Microsoft Access
    Microsoft Excel
    Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)
    MySQL
    SQLite
    FileMaker Pro
