  • Transfer custom Color Palettes from a previous version of Vectorworks

    You'll be able to find any custom Color Palettes you made in Vectorworks inside the older version of Vectorworks' user folder:

    OLD LOCATION:

    Mac:
    /Users/(Yourusername)/Library/Application Support/Vectorworks/(The older version of Vectorworks)/Libraries/Defaults/Color Palettes

    Windows:
    C:\Users\(Yourusername)\AppData\Roaming\Nemetschek\Vectorworks\(The older version of Vectorworks)\Libraries\Defaults\Color Palettes

    You can then copy it, close all versions of Vectorworks, then place it in the corresponding location for the newer version of Vectorworks:

    NEW LOCATION:

    Mac:
    /Users/(Yourusername)/Library/Application Support/Vectorworks/(The newer version of Vectorworks)/Libraries/Defaults/Color Palettes

    Windows:
    C:\Users\(Yourusername)\AppData\Roaming\Nemetschek\Vectorworks\(The newer version of Vectorworks)\Libraries\Defaults\Color Palettes
