When you send a rendering job to Cloud Services, a dedicated machine is spun up with the following specifications:

    Screen Shot 2017-07-13 at 2.19.02 PM.png

CPU (Directly related to Renderworks rendering speed):

    Intel Xeon E5-2670 - 8 cores 16 threads - running at 2.6Ghz to 3.0 Ghz

GPU (Related only to OpenGL rendering speed):
    GeForce GTX 770 - 4GB VRAM - 1,536 CUDA cores

If your machine suprasses these specifications significantly, cloud processing may take longer than a local rendering. However if your machine is below these specifications, cloud processing can be expected to take less time than a local render.

How much RAM do these machines have?

What about the limitations? = Amount of Layout-Layers // max. process time

E.g.: max. 10 layouts with max. 4 viewports on each ?

Is there a sheet where I can see the difference between a free and a paid cloud account?

I know that I have 20GB of storage but besides that, what else?

    Thanks in advance !

The only limit is time, if the total time of processing for a document takes over 24 hours, it will end the job. I am looking into getting this improved or at the very least, made optional so users can pay extra if they want not only for faster processing but a higher limit. Number of layers or viewports doesn't dictate the time to render, its dependant on the complexity of the file and not easily measured until an attempt to process it has been made.

I believe they have 16GB of RAM by default but that this can be scaled, not positive but I'll know more after digging a bit more into it for upgrade proposals.

These are the advantages of being a subscriber vs the Cloud Services for Everyone accounts:

    • 20 GB storage capacity
    • Manual or scheduledSheet layer to PDF cloud processing
    • Integrated cloud publishing from the Vectorworks application
    • Publish presentation and construction documents on the cloud
    • Ability to measure objects in the PDF drawings generated on the cloud, using Vectorworks Nomad

I simply stole these from this page after some searching:
