Topic:&nbsp:John McKernon will be presenting the newest version of Lightwright (v 6.0.46.460) in the broadest of terms.

Presenter Bio:&nbsp:John McKernon is the author of Lightwright, the de facto industry standard software for theatrical lighting designers and electricians around the world. He is also the associate lighting designer to Ken Billington on the current Broadway production of Chicago. Other than Chicago, he has retired from lighting design, but his designs over the last 50 years include One Mo’ Time (Broadway), The Trip to Bountiful (New York Signature Theatre and Chicago Goodman), Jelly Roll! (New York and London), An Evening With Jerry Herman, and multiple productions of ballets including The Nutcracker and Romeo &amp: Juliet. He has lit numerous galas and concerts featuring stars such as Betty Buckley, Chita Rivera, Victor Garber, Judy Kaye, Dorothy Loudon, Eva Gabor, Ann Reinking, Gwen Verdon, Art Garfunkel, Burl Ives, Jason Robards, Beverly Sills, Lynn Redgrave, Pete Seeger, and Peter, Paul, and Mary. For two years sometime in the middle of all that, he also served as a lighting supervisor for the U.S. tour of Riverdance. And yes, he’s still working every day on Lightwright.
