I have scheduled a two-day Vectorworks 2D/3D workshop here in Austin over the weekend of February 28-March 1. Topics include:
Using efficient drafting techniques with surfaces, Boolean opersations, and the reshape tool;
Working with Contraints, Object Information, and other key palettes
Introduction to hybrid 2D and 3D intelligent parametric objects such as site models, walls, windows, doors, stairs, etc.
General 3D modeling
File organization and maximizing the effectivness of classes, design and sheet layers, and viewports for efficiently extracting 2D views of a 3D model
Generating tabular views (reports) such as door and window schedules, area takeoffs, and building performance calculations
Participants should bring a laptop with Vectorworks installed. For those using or transitioning from older versions, there is a free 30-day trial of Vectorworks that can be downloaded here. There are only a few available seats, so please register soon!
