Topic: Shelly Wood Ziegelman, Architect (and a User Group member) will brighten our long and endless winter by sharing an exciting design of a residence in Baja, Mexico. Courtyard gardens and panoramic vistas are framed by the layout of this mediterranean-style home.

Viewing this project as a case study example, attendees will learn how to:

  • Convert a preliminary 2D design into a modified 3D model
  • Utilize a BIM Residential template to incorporate stories and custom wall styles
  • Create parametric objects including verandas, fountains, balconies, and custom railings
  • Utilize the heliodon tool to generate Sun and shadow studies
