Topic: Please join us as we document the BIM model for the Eames House. Over the next several meetings we will develop a schematic model illustrating the material assemblies: wall, floor, and roof construction. As the construction model develops we will discuss different options to improve the R-value of the building systems as the 1949 building does not meet current day codes.
Learning Objectives:
Construct a BIM model using parametric wall, slab, door, and window objects. Walls and slabs styles will include components representing the materials of construction.
Create curtain wall window systems.
Set up presentation views and sheets reflecting revisions as the model is developed.
