Fair Trade - The Business of Import & Export

Working and collaborating with consultants and/or other software may require the transfer of information between multiple programs. We will explore how to import and export different 2D and 3D file formats. 

  • DWG or "AutoCAD" files are the file standard used by many architectural design consultants
  • JPEG and other image file types allow for the creation of web and marketing materials
  • PDF is a universal file format for presentation and printing
  • IFC and other 3D file formats can be utilized with various modeling programs
