See how you can keep your creative edge and speak the language of graphical scripting with Vectorworks’ Marionette feature, the first cross-platform offering in the CAD and BIM industries. This Python®-based visual tool equips you to automate, program, and explore the power of 2D drawing, 3D modeling, and BIM workflows within Vectorworks software.
Training Part 4: Advanced
This will be the last in a series of four training webinars that will take you from beginner to advanced user, offering concrete tools and examples of how to use Marionette in your daily design process. Learn how Marionette can be used not only to manipulate Vectorworks objects but also to access information from different sources, like the internet. Marionette is simply Python code, which is why it can access other programs, and why nodes can be edited and created without any added user interfaces. The editing and creation of new nodes is one of the key aspects that set Marionette apart from other graphical scripting programs, but to utilize this tool, it necessary to learn some basics of Python and of Vector Script.
Each class is just an hour long, and #MarionetteMonday participants will also receive personalized feedback and support to answer your questions and perfect your projects.
