Boston User Group

Topic:&nbsp:Jump into 2019 with Vectorworks 2019. We are kick-starting the new year with a visit from a longtime user group member, Jim Woodwward, now Senior Entertainment Product Specialist at Vectorworks. He will demonstrate some of the great new features in the latest update to Vectorworks 2019 that will unleash your creativity and improve your productivity in the new year.

Learning Objectives:

  • Class and Layer Filters&nbsp:allow you to instantly find what you're looking for by typing in a keyword search or using filters to display classes and layers based on specific properties.
  • 2D Hybrids from 3D Objects&nbsp:efficiently create 2D drawings from your 3D and BIM models. With the new 2D components for hybrid objects capability, it draws exactly as you want in plan, elevation, and section views.&nbsp:
  • Clip Cube Viewports&nbsp:enable you to clip cubes in any rendered view or style, giving you the efficiency and capability you need to create remarkable sections, elevations, and presentation drawings.&nbsp:
  • Image Effects&nbsp:accomplish mainstream image editing inside of Vectorworks so that you don't need to export your designs to other editing applications such as Photoshop or Illustrator. The new viewport image effects work with viewports and imported images, which lets you prepare your presentation boards in the same software you used to create your designs.
