Mid-Atlantic Landmark User GroupTopic: :So far our group has covered the basics of file organization, learning about classes, layers, file settings, tool modes, viewports, and sheet layers. Tonight we'll begin exploring the planting tool. There is a lot to cover so we'll need a few meetings. For April 24, let's get clear on what settings are universal and which ones are particular to an individual drawing. Let's venture into the plant database and importing plant definitions into a file. Then we'll talk about good housekeeping and list plant topics for further exploration.Register

BIMobject Talks - BIMobject & VectorworksBIMobject is now installed into Vectorworks by default and is the main library for manufacturer specific content. But how does it work? How can it be accessed? In this talk we will educate you on how best to use this new and exciting tool. :
There is so much to learn when it comes to the digitalisation of the construction industry. Here at BIMobject we want to share knowledge with everyone with the goal to make your work life easier. :
So we have created BIMobject Talks. Every Tuesday we will host a short talk on a chosen topic with a Q&:A session. These will range from navigating the BIMobject Cloud to using apps to optimising the way you find data, we will try and cover as much as we can but in bite sized chunks. These short talks are aimed at manufacturers and/or users of the BIMobject Cloud, so check out our calendar to know the topic of the next talk. :

Managing BCF Data for IFC-based WorkflowsTo help manage communications betweencollaborators and software that leverage IFC-based workflows, buildingSMARTInternational has developed a new standard: the BIM Collaboration Format (BCF).In response, software companies have created tools and features that betterenable professionals to benefit from the implementation of BCF data, such asthe BCF Manager in Vectorworks Architect, which gives architects and designersthe ability to directly view and interact with issues reported by collaboratorson other IFC- and BCF-compatible platforms. In this webinar, Jeffrey W.Ouellette, Assoc. AIA, IES, chair of the buildingSMART InternationalImplementation Support Group, will explore the purpose and uses of BCF, as wellas workflows for integrating BCF into existing processes to achieve success.
