Virtual training offers the Vectorworks Core Concepts course, with the additional convenience of working from your own computer and the flexibility to determine your own schedule! Virtual training is a five-day course with three hours of class time daily, which frees up the rest of your day. The Vectorworks Architect Virtual Training demonstrates creating a residential model from the ground up. Instructor Wes Gardner, an architectural industry expert at Nemetschek Vectorworks, will begin the seminar with instruction on best practices for file setup: organizing layers, classes and stories: and managing shareable drawing elements such as hatches, wall styles, slab styles, and symbols. Next, Wes will demonstrate how to create a residential model using various timesaving techniques and built-in architectural tools. Once the model is created, using viewports and worksheets, you will be able to extract out data from the model and easily produce a set of construction documents. Progression files will be provided to assist users in following along with the instructor.
